Well, it took a lot of time and patience, but I’m home.
Finally built a computer for the first time and man, it’s beautiful. A little more complicated than I thought when it comes to motherboard connections, but other than that, pretty cool. Finally have all the things I need to kickstart my technological journey.
It’s good to be home.
Finally in a place that’s peaceful and quiet. Being surrounded by idiots is highly taxing. I can finally eat what I want, sleep where I want, shower where I want. Go to the bathroom without smelling multiple people doing the same thing next to me. Brush my teeth without disgusting animals clearing their noses IN THE SINK next to me. Where were these circus creatures from? Raised by wolves? It really puts things into perspective. So many things I’ve taken for granted in life. Even something as simple as water. I only had access to water that had all the minerals stripped from it. It was as if you were drinking and it immediately poured out the other end. I always knew how good I had it. But you don’t appreciate anything truly until it’s gone. My quiet time is as important to me as breathing. Without it, I simply cannot exist. My creative mind runs rampant in the quiet and is suppressed when frustrated by the corrupt presence of stupidity.
One thing at a time. Studying, growing, developing. I will be my own boss.
I.
Am.
Home.
