Wisdom for Those Concerned

Well, I said I’d use this to post my progress.

Looks like I have quite a lot of updating to do.

I’ve spent the past countless months studying for my A+ exam. I’ve dabbled in Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Linux, and a plethora of other IT related subjects. I’m pretty sure I know what I’m going to do once I return to the United States.

I’m going a bit crazy over here as I can’t stand the majority of the individuals I’m surrounded with. I keep myself busy by keeping my nose in the books…or laptop…. Either way, I keep busy by being productive. I haven’t read or written anything productive in years and now I find myself focusing on progress every single day. Some days are more productive than others. Sometimes I fall into my usual cynical rut and just want to sit and veg in my bed. I live in a container with another random child I’ve never met before this deployment. I often dream of strangling him until he stops moving. Jesus, 32 years old, living with a roommate.

There’s much more to catch up on, so I’ll keep this post brief. My mental development and professional competence has grown greatly over the past few months. Besides being forced to do the usual ridiculous dog and pony show garbage shoved down my throat. I’ll keep grinding away and shall update more in the next post.
